People-driven Innovation in Enterprises (PIE)

Helps local businesses strengthen their innovation capacity and unlock growth by mobilising their own workforce. Anchored by IAL’s proprietary Enterprise Compass diagnostic tool, PIE benchmarks an organisation against Singapore's top-performing companies, combining business foresight with workplace learning. Guided by specialised PIE coaches, the programme empowers the employees closest to the ground to drive product category creation, test minimum viable products (MVPs), and transform operational challenges into high-value, premium business strategies.

Mercer Framework for Job Redesign

The Mercer Work (Re)Design Framework and Methodology is suitable for today’s technology-driven workplace because it helps organisations redesign work around tasks, skills and value, rather than fixed job roles. By deconstructing jobs into specific activities, organisations can identify which tasks can be automated, augmented by AI, centralised, redeployed or redesigned into higher-value work. This is especially useful as AI, automation and digital tools are changing how work is done and what skills employees need. Through its “Deconstruct, Redeploy and Reconstruct” approach, the framework enables enterprises to reduce manual and repetitive work, improve productivity, release workforce capacity, and equip employees with future-ready skills. In doing so, it helps organisations become more agile, efficient and resilient while supporting employees to take on more meaningful, strategic and value-added work.
